I was born and raised in Germany. In 1980 while on a vacation in Florida I meet my husband. We married in Ohio and in 1983 my son was born. Three years later we moved to Newport North Carolina. The next thirteen years I was a housewife. Most the time I helped my husband to remodel old houses and I was very happy when we finally built our own new home. From this time on I painted, wallpapered, laid kitchentiles and brickpavers. I enjoyed what I been doing, but three years ago, I didn't know what to do with a computer and displaced everthing. I decided then to go back to school and learn all about computers. Now I am in a program called Computerized System Information and I have one more semester to go. I also have two dogs, two cats, five geese, three ducks and 10 chicken and they like some attention.

Here is one of my favorite receipe easy to make and delicious.

Greek cake

• 2 cups of sugar
• 2 1/2 cups of flour
• 2 tsp. Soda
• dash of salt

Add: 2 slightly beaten eggs

• 1 #202 size can crushed pineapple (use juice also)
• 1 tsp. Vanilla
• 1 cup chopped walnuts

Mix this all together. Bake in 9x13 glass or metal pan for 35 min. at 350^o. Put a toothpick in center to check if done. If the batter sticks to the toothpick let it bake longer. Frosting

• 1-8oz. Cream cheese
• 1-stick oleo(1/2 cup) room temperature
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Frost while a little warm. Refrigerate cake overnight if possible.
